Where: Mt. Home Ranch Resort (near Calistoga, Northern California)

Cost: Between $55 (ish) per person per night to $85 (ish) per person per night (based on type of accommodation) – Roughly from $250 to $400 per person.

Ambiance: a wonderful resort with 300 acres, 2 swimming pools, hiking trails, a natural warm springs (86 degrees), canyons, forests, and a small stream. Some of the cabins even have a fire place.
