Science and the Spiritual Path…. A Sheikh in the Sufi Ruhaniat International and a Shafayat in the DHO, Siddiq has a Ph.D. in Physics and an expired journeyman plumber’s license. He is Director of Laboratories and Associate Faculty at St. John’s College in Santa Fe. He has been Coordinator, Treasurer, and Trustee of Lama Foundation and is now its database consultant.

Elaine Sutton, RN

The Language of Love: Writing as a Vehicle for the Exploration of Our Secret Selves. One of the original creators of the Macrobiotic Cookbook, and former midwife, she is a psychiatric nurse & counselor, and a long-time teacher of the creative writing of the soul. Elaine is a DHO initiator.

Sufi Titles: Hakim: spiritual physician; Murshid: most senior teacher; Sheikh, Khaliph: senior teacher

DHO Titles: Kafayat: director of the healing activity, Shafayat: assistant to the director, holds a concentration for the manifestation of Healing Energy on the earth plane, usually over a geographic area; Initiator: one who is empowered to initiate into the Order; Healing Conductor: center leader who is initiated to do the Healing Ritual.

DHO Spring Meeting

The Healing Ritual of Hazrat Inayat Khan…. Murshid S.A.M’s Hakim (spiritual physician), a Murshid in the Sufi Ruhaniat International, a Kafayat of the DHO, he is a long-time student of alternative healing and spiritual energetics.

The Spiritual process of Death and Dying…. A Shafayat in the DHO, she is a back-country public health nurse, and a long-time student of the “rites of passage.”

The DHO is under the aegis of the Sufi Ruhaniat International in the lineage of Hazrat Inayat Khan and his disciple, Murshid Samuel Lewis (Sufi Sam). This camp is for DHO members and all those in the healing professions or interested in healing on any level. We will focus on the esoteric and its practical application to healing: physical, mental and spiritual. All profits from the camp will be donated to the Lama Foundation for their rebuilding fund.
