Dear Friends
Today [1997] marks the 10th anniversary of the passing of Reverend Frida Waterhouse, a Godmother to the spiritual community, and an honorary Murshida in the Sufi Islamia Ruhaniat Society.
Frida was a self-described "tough cookie." She called herself a "garbage disposal for the Sufi community." Her light was laser-like in its ability to penetrate to the core of people's hang-ups. She said her work was "to combine the love of Jesus with the science of Buddha."
Here is a sample of her insight: "Your human heart may, and often does, desire many things. Your soul's desire is to fulfill its blueprint. If your human desires conflict with the soul's goals, you can delay or even abort the action on the stage. The choice is always yours!" (from WHY ME?)
Frida, you dedicated your work "to all wayfaring pilgrims." Today, with love and respect, we dedicate our remembrance to you…..
With deep gratitude for your being,
Moineddin |

Pir Moineddin was a great uniter, a man of tremendous heart (and atrocious puns) who worked steadfastly on behalf of the greater good of all, even in the face of his own health concerns. One of his great contributions was the emphasis on Soulwork, a psychospiritual counseling approach which sought the healing and uniting of the struggling forces within the individual. He studied soulwork with the late Frida Waterhouse. |
